Stitchers Suite

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

The short version

Everything you create in Stitchers Suite (your stash, your palettes, your images) stays on your device. We don’t have a server to send it to, and we wouldn’t want one. Nothing you create is ever uploaded or shared. We use privacy-first, server-side analytics for aggregate page counts only — no cookies, no tracking scripts, no personal data.

What is stored on your device

Stitchers Suite stores data in your browser using two standard browser features: localStorage and IndexedDB. These are built into every modern browser and are completely private to you.

What Where Why
Your thread stash localStorage So you can see which threads you own across visits
Palette names, notes & thread lists localStorage So your saved palettes are there when you come back
Reference images you pin IndexedDB So your moodboard images persist between sessions
Light / dark mode preference localStorage So the site loads in the right theme
Whether you’ve seen the guided tour localStorage So we don’t show it every time

What we don’t do

  • No data collection. We don’t receive your stash, palettes, or images. They never leave your device.
  • No cookies. We use browser localStorage and IndexedDB, not HTTP cookies. No cookie banner needed.
  • No accounts or sign-in. We have no way to identify you, and we don’t want one.
  • No tracking scripts, cookies, or user profiling. We use no client-side tracking scripts — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, nothing of that kind. We use Netlify’s server-side analytics for aggregate page counts only; it sets no cookies, runs no JavaScript on your device, and collects no personal data. See “Third-party services” below for details.
  • No third-party advertising or data sharing. Full stop.

Third-party services

Stitchers Suite uses two external services:

Netlify Analytics: we use Netlify’s server-side analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful. This works entirely from web server logs — there is no JavaScript tracking script on the page, no cookies are set, and no personal data is collected or stored. What we see is aggregate data only: total page views, unique visitor counts (derived from anonymised IP hashing, not stored individually), top pages, and referrer domains. This data is held by Netlify and is never sold or shared with third parties. Netlify’s privacy policy applies: netlify.com/privacy
Google Fonts: the typefaces (Playfair Display and Lato) are loaded from Google’s CDN on your first visit if you’re online. This means Google’s servers receive a standard web request that may include your IP address, as with any web font. Once cached by the service worker, fonts load from your device and no further requests are made to Google. Google’s privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored locally, you can delete it all at any time:

  1. 1 Open your browser settings and navigate to Privacy & SecuritySite data (Chrome/Edge) or Storage (Firefox/Safari).
  2. 2 Find stitcherssuite.com and click Clear or Delete.
  3. 3 This removes your stash, palettes, images, and all preferences in one go.

Changes to this policy

If we ever make meaningful changes to how data is handled we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Since we hold no personal data, there’s nothing to notify you about retroactively.
